Hello (music) lovers,
We have big and exciting news in that we are throwing a Valentines party on the 13th Feb, with the amazingly talented Trus'me of Prime Numbers / Fat City / Stilove4music records. It will go from 9pm til late at that most mysterious of places "an inner city venue TBC".
This will be the official Sydney album launch for his second Album "In The Red" - which is out in the coming days and features collabs with the likes of Amp Fiddler, Dam Funk, Paul Randolph (Jazzanova) and Piranha Head (Mahogani Music). Check it out at the link below!
Providing emotional support on the night will be People Must Jams own musical match makers Matt Trousdale, Pete Dot and James Weirick.
To make sure all the heads are on board for this, and to show were the sensitive, loving, caring types, were offering some super cheap first release tickets at a stupidly low price of $15 (see the "buy now" link on this page), so you can snag one for your loved one, partner, mistress or whoever you care about most and start planning an outfit around the theme of "love" or "red". See you for a few slow dances under the lights in a few weeks time!
Big love – PMJ!

After spending the last few months recovering from our inaugural party with Rahaan, People Must Jam are re-activating for summer 09 (and beyond) and to celebrate our return from the wilderness were throwing an intimate bash at the Hollywood Hotel on 3rd October – the Saturday of the long weekend.
Turning up the heat on the night will be our very special guest Kebabi Man playing his debut Sydney gig.
Having risen to prominence over the last year with a slew of original productions, tasty edits and recipes(!) via his Edits, Food, No Hype blog (http://kebabiman.tumblr.com) he has been receiving plays and kudos from Prins Thomas, The Underdog, Todd Terje, Victor Simonelli, Darshan from Metro Area and has played gigs for “Soild Gold” In Finland and also at Mark E`s very own night “Dropout Boogie”. Hes also been signed to make his debut on wax in the coming months with several projects in the pipeline for overseas labels.
Our very own musical sous chefs Matt Trousdale, Pete Dot and James Weirick will be preparing the necessary disco tabouleh and slathering the dance floor in red hot funk sauce – minus any cheese.
We will be warming grills of steel from 9pm and will keep the fire burning until the small hours – all for a paltry $5, which along with reasonably priced booze should leave enough change in your pocket to avoid the eternal post night out financial quandary of “cab or kebab?”
Donner make you feel good!
